Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast is the first B&B to have ever be a multi-year winner for the BEST Bed and Breakfast in Louisiana as presented by the Louisiana Office of Tourism (Louey Award for Bed and Breakfast Accommodation of the Year). Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast has held the title from 2020 to 2022. The most recent award was presented the proprietors, Jeff and Laura Atkinson, at an awards ceremony attended by approximately 300 persons in the Alexandria Convention Center on February 3rd, 2022.

Annual awards recognize best of the Louisiana tourism industry
Charenton,La. (Feb. 5, 2020) – The Louisiana Travel Association (LTA) and Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser introduced Jeff and Laura Atkinson, proprietors of the Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast and Art Gallery, as the winner of the 2020 Bed and Breakfast Accommodation of the Year during its Annual Meeting in Charenton,La.
This LTA presented 19 “Louey Awards” to honour and showcase individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the Louisiana tourism industry. Three accommodation awards were presented to honour larger Hotels. smaller Hotels/Inns and Bed & Breakfasts.
