Announcing Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed B&B and Art Gallery of Tangipahoa Parish has won the Best of the Northshore award from Sophisticated Woman Magazine for the fifth year in a row. We have won this award every year since we opened. Our accolades for the Bed and Breakfast include 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 Sophisticated Woman Magazine “Best of Northshore” Bed and Breakfast. In 2020 Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast and Art Gallery was also awarded Best B&B in The State of Louisiana – the Louey Award as presented by the Louisiana Office of Tourism. We are the only B&B have been awarded the annual Louey award fo multiple years. We hald the title from 2020 to 2022. In 2019 the Best of the Northshore Sophisticated Women Awards also included Best Hotel and Camping. In 2020, 2021 and 2022 in addition to Tangipahoa B&B winning the Best of Northshore B&B award, Chef Laura was named the Best of the Northshore Chef of the year. In 2020, 2021 and 2022 the B&B also won the Best of the Northshore Event and/or wedding Center. The Louisiana Travel Association issued several press releases that were carried by most all the news media across Louisiana when Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast and Art Gallery won the title for the Best B&B In Louisiana that they have held from 2020 to 2022 (Louey award for Bed and Breakfast Accommodation of the Year). We have had multiple, detailed news articles praising and announcing our Art Gallery and Grand Opening functions from The Tangipahoa Daily Star and Sophisticated Woman. The proprietors have been interviewed several times on the local radio stations and they have also been part of a parish sponsored statewide broadcast TV advertisements highlighting the Staycation greatness of Tangipahoa Parish. Global Wildlife Center (Folsum, La), Columbia Theatre (Hammond, La.), Regional Hammond Art Center, Amite Art Guild, CAM2 Golf Course (Amite, La.), Ponchatrain Vineyards and Wild Bush Farm and Vineyards (Bush, La.), several nearby canine breeders (see our BLOG on same) and more have elected to partner with Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast and Art Gallery primarily because they want to associate to a B&B and Art Gallery of our quality..
Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast and Art Gallery are active members of multiple associations including the Greater Hammond and Amite Chamber of Commerce, the Louisiana Travel Association, the Association of Lodging Professionals and the Louisiana Bed and Breakfast Association. We have given overviews of the grand estate to other associations (for example the Rotary Club and Parish Economic Boards). We have also been featured in the Amite Chamber of Commerces Parade of Homes and we have had several Art Gallery showings and Ponchatrain Vineyard's dining events
This year (2023) the art gallery's associated sculpture garden was awarded grants to add permanent lighting to outdoor bronze sculptures. Laura was also awarded a Louisiana Office of Tourism scholarship organized by the Louisiana Travel Association to represent the B&B across the state Louisiana and facilitate marketing of the businesses in the state.
