Welcome, my friend to Bienvenue Mon Ami, a newly built 2018 facility where state-of-the-art amenities await. You will be beckoned to return again and again to the bed and breakfast you never imagined could exist. Bienvenue Mon Ami combines luxurious modern features while honoring old Louisiana traditions with its Antebellum Acadian style grandeur and romantic getaway appeal. Amenities include an elevator to guest rooms and common areas with interesting custom lighting fixtures that guide the way. A grand entry staircase lures you to Amish built swings, gliders and outdoor dining on the elevated wrap around porch. Large windowed areas abound and overlook the mature oaks and dense forest surrounding the private balcony rooms and dining areas. New in 2023, firepit gazebo picnic area is back (ask about complimentary S'mores) and new picnic areas/swings surround the pond.

Unlike many vacation rentals by owners, most all our on-site amenities are included for overnight guests in the room price. We urge our guests to compare our competitors total bill to our room prices. Unless you are buying a product, paying a damage fee or utilizing an extra service/event; our only add-on cost is generally only mandated taxes.

To our overnight guests, these elements are free and complimentary. Unless you are unusually messy, there are no cleaning fees. The free elements are not limited to and include game room use (pool air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard, more), a variety of soda beverages, bottled water, the Sophisticated Woman 2023 best breakfast in Tangipahoa, the best chef's on the Northshore's gourmet evening snack, unlimited fresh ground coffee (lattes, cappacinos, machiatto and sweetners/flavoring of all sorts included), beds are made and warm fresh towels provided daily, fishing in our catch and release pond, hiking and exploring the largely wooded with long fairways 30 acre estate, use of a 5 person semi-secluded hot tub, Fire pit and gazebo, access to the art gallery and outdoor sculpture garden, owner concierge service, guest photographing and posting is encouraged, an initial array of toiletries (face towel use, mouthwash, make-up remover, q-tips and more). emergency use of an AED machine and first aid kit & more.

Unless you stay past sunset-we have no late check-out fees. Unless you arrive before the morning breakfast ends or after the no-show time limit (we do expect a call if arrival moves out of official check-in window) - we have no early/late check-in fees.

Offical check-in times are 3 PM to 7 PM and Check-out time is 11 AM.

However, if we have no guests coming into the room on your departure date you can use the room until dusk. If we had no guests in the room the day before you arrive, you can generally have room accesss by noon on the day of your check-in. Even if there are guests in you room before or after you arrive in the more liberal timeframes, we will generally* allow you property access to the estate and common areas  of the mansion ((no room access until official times) from noon of your arrival date to dusk of your departure date. *Occasionally an event or other activity prevents us from allowing the more liberal access window. Please talk to the proprietors before planning times on-site outside of the officuialcheck-in/check-out windows.r
